The professor prepared individual feedback for each of us, guiding us to refine our Task 2 assignments and prepare for continuing this project in Task 3, while offering suggestions. He recommended we manually construct scenes ourselves to enable greater interactivity. Specifically, he advised me to incorporate more interactive elements into the laboratory scene, such as sound effects (opening doors, turning on lights).
Weekly to-do
1. This Week’s Main Goal
(One sentence — the focus for this week)
-Building upon Task 2 (Laboratory), add some more clues.
-Complete Project 2 and prepare for Project 3.
Starting Point: Fortress City → Wilderness Exploration
• Implementation Method:
◦ Guided Interaction: Set up an NPC (Militia Captain) within the fortress. Trigger a cutscene via the "Dialogue UI," informing the player of the mission "Find the key material for ecological restoration," and distributing initial items (flashlight, simple weapon).
2. What I Am Focusing On (Choose ONE)
Narrative Pacing and Development
3. One Concrete Task (Must Finish This Week)
Complete the full narrative flow of the transition from the fortress city to the laboratory scene (including the task triggers before the switch, the story text being loaded, and the environmental narrative after the switch) + implement the core SceneSwitchTrigger script.
4. Secondary Tasks (Optional)
Add visual prompts for the scene transition triggers in both Fortress City and Laboratory.
